Weight-loss can be deliberate, such as with weight loss, or accidental and be a expression of illness.

Deep Belly Fat

You need some deep fat. It provides support around your whole body parts.

But if you have too much of it, you may be more likely to get hypertension, type two diabetic issues, cardiovascular disease, dementia, and certain malignancies, such as breasts malignancies and melanoma of the digestive tract.

The fat doesn't just sit there. It's an effective part of your whole body, making "lots of unpleasant ingredients," says Kristen Hairston, MD, associate lecturer of endocrinology and metabolic rate at Awaken Woodlands University of Medication.

If you gain too much weight, your whole body begins to shop your fat in uncommon places.

With increasing being overweight, you have people whose regular areas to shop fat are so full that the fat is placed into one's whole body parts and around the center, says Mom Shively, PhD, lecturer of pathology-comparative medicine at Awaken Woodlands University of Medication.

How Much Tummy Fat Do You Have?

The most accurate way to figure out how much deep fat you have is to get a CT check out or MRI. But there's a much easier, low-cost way to examine.

Get a tape-measure, cover it around your stomach at your navel, and examine your thickness. Do it while you're status up, and make sure the tape-measure is level.

For your health's benefit, you want your stomach size to be less than 35 inches wide if you're a woman and less than 40 inches wide if you're a man.

Having a "pear shape" -- bigger waist and hip and legs -- is considered more secure than an "apple form," which explains a broader stomach.

“What we’re really directing to with the the apple company compared to pear,” Hairston says, "is that, if you have more stomach fat, it’s probably an indication that you have more deep fat."
